Point One at USBTA Stormin’ the Beach, VA Beach, June 4-6, 2019

Point One is proud to participate in the United States Bomb Technician Association (USBTA) event, Operation Stormin’ the Beach, in Virginia Beach, VA, June 4-6, 2019 and display the latest kits, systems and training aids. Hosted by Norfolk and Virginia Beach Police Department Bomb Squads, this training expo for Public Safety and Military Bomb Technicians showcases current and emerging technologies. It also provides the opportunity for skill enhancement and proficiency using the products and training technology employed in render-safe training. The training will consist of practical exercises using robotics, radiography, rigging, explosive detection, energetic tools, explosive containment and more, common to what is found and applied across the Bomb Tech and EOD operational spectrum.

On display at USBTA Storming the Beach:

Point One’s mobile warhorse complete with an ATF-certified magazine built for the storage of HME, serves as the backdrop for some Point One products on display, such as the Disruptor Trap, a portable means to backstop all solid projectiles fired from a 12-gauge disruptor. We are also featuring the Booby Trap, and Team Fabrication Training Kits, and the ready-to-field EOD Operator Kit and Downrange Sampling Kit. Techs will have the opportunity to analyze IED initiators and perform voltage check procedures to determine their condition and disposition with the Detonator Diagnostic Trainer from Point One’s Training Systems product line. Point One SMEs will be on-hand to provide information about all of our products and services and gather feedback from training event participants.

Our on-going commitment to military and law enforcement:
